THE FIRECRACKER SPORTS DIFFERENCE – Firecracker Sports uses industry leading custom software to facilitate schedules, team contacts, game results, and team standings all year. All NPBL teams will have access to a team portal to create schedules around team availability. We can provide detailed contact information for your peer teams allowing coaches to contact other coaches. Teams may schedule around local recreation leagues, tournaments, etc. Develop your kids at your pace!

ORGANIZED & PROMPT COMMUNICATION – Our website is updated REAL TIME with game schedules, results, live chat & live standings! Plus we can assign the best professional umpires in the area, you never have to schedule an umpire… if you don’t have the time, we can help!

COACH FRIENDLY RULES – rules to promote & develop all kids, roster batting allowed, open substitution, no automatic outs (except for ejections), focus on the development of your team –NOT on adhering to substitution rules for the majority of your games in season! Save those games for your tournament schedule.

NO STRICT LEAGUE BOUNDARIES – we are happy to host teams in the RI, MA, CT, NH, ME, VT and NY area and will schedule teams where they are not traveling constantly for league play. Allowing you to play “unique teams” from time to time but also on your regional opponents. We will promote a balance of geographic friendly distances for games with a desire for competitive balance for opponents. 

AFFORDABLE – Our league does not have extra costs – No extra umpire assignor fees, no stipulations on entering tournaments, buying baseballs, uniforms and you simply pay one registration fee ($199), and you are good to go. We bring teams together and facilitate the best competition, in the most organized league in the area, all for a quarter of the cost of a tournament.  

PLAYOFFS – The league will provide all field costs, umpire costs, balls and trophy ceremonies with social media exposure on site for each championship game of each division. 13U and older divisions will play their playoffs at collegiate venues!

PROMOTION AND TRUE DIVISIONAL COMPETITION: After the 2025 season, the top 10 teams will be placed in the “Premier Division” and the bottom 10 teams will be placed in the “Champions Division.”

1. Teams will continue to play each other, but schedules will be dictated by your division.

2. At the end of the 2026 Season, the top 4 teams of the “Champions Division” will be promoted, and the bottom 4 teams of the “Premier Division” will be relegated…allowing true competition and divisions that are based on merit, league play and consistency in building rosters. This will be an annual promotion for those teams to ascend or be demoted based on performance. 

ENHANCED SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE – Weekly coverage including pitcher/player of the week, players to watch, games of the week and much more!

PLAYER PROFILES/COLLEGE EXPOSURE/TRACKMAN/METRICS – Player profiles for every player in the league including stats, scores, demographics for free to every family, college coach evaluations at playoff games such as semifinals and championships. Players will have more of an opportunity to gain evaluation for Fire55 and Jr. Fire55, the premier showcase of the summer at Dunkin Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats. Jr. Fire55 is for those 13U – 14U as well. Options for Trackman and team analytic days during the season.  

SPECIAL EVENTS – All Star Games, Skills Competitions, HR Derby plus post-championship ceremonies including player/coach interviews and All League, MVP Trophies, Banners plus more more!

SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST!…The top organization of the league, dictated by overall points system, will qualify for the “Grand Slam level of our loyalty program” for their program, starting Fall 2025 and through the Summer of 2026. Program benefits are listed on the our website above.
