Boomer’s Blogs 1.6 – Baseball Tournaments in Maine

As we make our way through February, slowly inching away from the bitter cold, winds, and snow often associated with New England winter weather, it’s always nice to imagine being in a more enjoyable place or climate. With March coming up, the spring and summer seasons are on the way, and what better place to envision spending a weekend than some of the best destinations in the state of Maine! Here is an update on our baseball tournaments in Maine.

The 7th Annual All American Lighthouse Classic will be our first of three tournaments held in the Pine Tree State this year; the tournament will take place across Old Orchard Beach & Portland, Maine, beginning on June 21st, with playoffs & championships running through June 24th. The day before the tournament begins, though, Firecracker Sports will be hosting a College Showcase Camp for players that are 2026, 2027, and 2028 graduates at the Ballpark at the Beach in Old Orchard Beach. This camp, taking place on Friday, June 20th is…

This year, 50 plus athletes from the classes of 2025-2029 joined us and 13 College Coaches to showcase their abilities and grow as a player. Huge thank you to the College Coaches for coming out to help the players, and the Sluggers Academy for using their facility for the second year in a row.

Boomer’s Blogs 1.2 – Pennsylvania Baseball Events

This week, we at Firecracker Sports wanted to feature two particular tournament events that we offer during the summer months; the Mid Atlantic Summer Championships, and the Sweet Spot Showcase Classic. These events, both taking place in Pennsylvania, offer fierce competition amongst a variety of unique game venues, providing quality baseball for coaches and players, as well as potential visibility for older players performing in front of college coaches or scouts. Most importantly, these two events have the potential for a ton of fun, both on and off the field!

This past summer was our first year holding the Mid Atlantic Summer Championships, which took place in Valley Forge, PA. We were absolutely thrilled with the performance of the teams that came out for the inaugural tourney, and we’re looking to come back bigger and better in year two. Last year’s Mid Atlantic Summer Championships featured about 30 teams across three divisions, with those being 15U, 16U, and 17/18U. This year, we’ve decided to add both 13U and 14U divisions to the tournament, as we’re looking to double the size of the event this second go-around…
