Evaluation

August 2025: Maddex is a shortstop with solid arm strength, and developing infield actions. He would benefit from a quicker release to improve his efficiency defensively. At the plate, he has quick hands and a short, compact swing that produces consistent line drives. With continued refinement, Maddex has the tools to be a reliable middle infielder who puts pressure on defenses with the bat.
