Brigade Baseball Team spent June 5th at Littleton Highschool for their 2021 team scouting day showcasing their talents and skills to college coaches. On the day, there were 22 total athletes between the graduating years 2022-2024. Johnson & Wales University, Worcester State University, Nichols College, University of Albany, and Dean College were all in attendance to evaluate and work in small groups with the players.
These players had the opportunity to display their skills both offensively and defensively including timed 60’s, pitcher/catcher velocities, and pitching/hitting metrics. Additionally they participated in dynamic warm-ups and drill sessions to receive tips and advice from the college coaches. A large part of this scout day is giving players exposure to scouts therefore each is rewarded with a College recruitment video including all their skills and statistics.
Top 60 Yard Dash Leaders on the Day:
Cameron Carignan – 2022 – P | IF | OF
Carignan took the top time for the day by sprinting the 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds on his first attempt. Additionally he took the top time on the second attempt as well sprinting it in 7.47 seconds.
Michael DiCarlo – 2023 – C
DiCarlo had the second best time of the day by sprinting the 60 yard dash in 7.46 seconds on his first attempt. The second attempt was sprinted in 7.7 seconds.
Joshua Seidl – 2022 – P | OF
Seidl tied for the third best time of the day by sprinting the 60 yard dash in 7.58 seconds. The second attempt was sprinted in 7.66 seconds.
Ty Curtis – 2024 – OF
Curtis tied for the third best time of the day by sprinting the 60 yard dash in 7.58 seconds. The second attempt was sprinted in 7.7 seconds.
Top Catching Leaders on the Day:
Michael DiCarlo – 2023 – C
DiCarlo proved to be fast behind home plate as he had the fastest Pop time on the day of 2.01 seconds with a velocity of 73 mph.
Tighe Clark – 2024 – C
Clark was impressive behind the plate as he had a Pop time of 2.25 seconds with a velocity of 64 mph.
Milan Siano – 2024 – P | C | IF | OF
Siano took action behind home plate as he had a Pop time of 2.45 seconds with a velocity of 65 mph.
Top Pitching Leaders on the Day:
Maxwell Person – 2023 – P | 1B
Person pitched well during this event, topping out with a fastball at 83.7 mph while averaging 81.9 mph. He stayed on the mound to show an array of pitches including an average curveball of 64.5 mph, changeup averaging at 68.5 mph, and slider averaging at 66.9 mph.
Evan Scully – 2022 – P | 3B | OF
Scully took action on the mound topping out with a fastball at 77.6 mph while averaging 76.8 mph. Additionally he showed his skills in throwing curveballs by averaging 71.1 mph.
Matt Dalto – 2024 – P | 2B | SS
Dalto showcased his pitching skills by topping out with a fastball at 78 mph while averaging 75.8 mph. Before leaving the mound he showed his curveball averaging at 63.4 mph.
Connor Madden – 2023 – P | 1B
Madden took to the mound to showcase his skills by topping out with a fastball at 76 mph while averaging 72.2 mph. Additionally he displayed pitches including an average curveball of 66.2 mph and changeup average of 66.3 mph.

Cote found power at home plate as he batted forcefully to generate a peak exit velocity of 84 mph while averaging 80 mph.
Maxwell Person – 2023 – P | 1B
Person stepped up to home plate to give a fantastic performance as he generated the highest peak exit velocity on the day of 85 mph while averaging 79.2 mph.
Riley Ashworth – 2022 – P | SS | 3B
Ashworth took his turn at home plate to generate a peak exit velocity of 82 mph while averaging at 75.1 mph.

Seidl found his place at home plate to generate a peak exit velocity of 83 mph while averaging at 75 mph.
